As a child I always wanted a chemistry kit. For some reason I never verbalized this desire – I lusted in silence. In attempts to understand what life with a chemistry kit was like I would sneak into the bathroom to collect my parents’ various ointments
and creams as if they belonged in my kit. Surely if you mix them together and wait long enough something magical is bound to happen. Nothing ever did.

I have received a BA in Art History and BFA in Visual Arts from the University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and Saint Paul. They are not actually twins; in fact they are quite different.

I am interested in exploring, observing, and creating. Discovery is key.

To this day I have never owned a chemistry kit.
