Marguerite Humeau
First Year

I graduated from the ENSAAMA in Paris in 2007 with a BA in Graphic Design. After that, I spent two years in the Netherlands, studying Fine Arts at the Design Academy in Eindhoven.

My work involves a wide range of mediums and disciplines, including objects, photography, drawings, videos, and performance.

My practice explores the construction and theatrical representations/images of fantasms and anxieties around the body, its future, and technologies.

I am also fascinated by the irrational, the random, the inexplicable, the not scientifically-proved, the unknown, the incalculable, the unplanned, the surreal, the extraordinary, the sacred, the magic, and how these notions, in relationship to the body, are expressed through images.

I am currently exploring different approaches and processes dealing with these subjects.
