First Year
When I was 3 years old I decided to be a bin man – because I liked the idea of riding the dust cart.
When I turned 10 I decided to be an archaeologist – because I was fascinated by amphibians, skeletons and colourful reptiles.
Even in my very first memories I drew, sculpted and built things – It seemed just inevitable to me.
Résumé ––––– observing – analysing – exploring
I graduated from Pforzheim University in Germany in Industrial Design and following this I worked on a medical research project initiated and funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research in Germany .
Influenced by my previous research and work – especially in the medical area - I became interested in societal structures, people, future emerging technologies and 'invisible politics'.
All of this finally led me to the RCA to study Design Interactions. I’m looking forward to pursuing and exploring questions raised by technology and systems which are slightly immaterial or polarising.
